1. Fabric Gloss
Good luggage fabrics will have a soft brightness that is different from oily ones under the illumination of light. Different fabrics have different glossiness. Nylon fabrics have a significantly thicker density, so their glossiness is brighter than other cloth fabrics; The leather itself has reflective properties, so the gloss will be somewhat higher.
2. Fabric texture
Good fabrics have a very delicate feel, feel very warm and comfortable without rubbing your hands, and use a natural drape when hanging. The texture of nylon/polyester fabric is clear, and the higher the density, the more obvious the texture is. Nylon with small fabrics also has a tear resistance effect.
3. Fabric weight and taste
Good fabrics generally weigh less. Fabric (nylon, polyester, canvas) is lightweight and soft, easy to sew and cut, and easy to carry. However, it seems that the heavier the leather, the more solid it becomes. The common test is to see if the leather has a taste. Good leather has no taste.
4. Fabric elasticity
Good fabrics have very good elasticity and reducibility, and can be reduced to a flat shape without wrinkles when rubbed together by hand. This test is most suitable for use on genuine leather.
